Key Responsibilities:

St. Osmund’s C.E. Middle School is an over-subscribed Middle School for Years 5 - 8, located in the thriving county town of Dorchester. The school is proudly part of the Wessex Multi Academy Trust and is Ofsted Good in all areas (2022). We require a centre assistant to oversee the evening, weekend and school holiday bookings at the St Osmund’s Community Sports Centre. We are looking for someone who is community orientated and has an interest in sport. The role will include meeting and greeting customers, confirming bookings, setting up the equipment prior to hires, as well as packing away equipment, cleaning the centre and locking up at the end of the evening. There is an element of lone working and lifting within this role, completion of paperwork, creation of invoices and handling cash. The main opening hours are 5-10pm Monday to Friday, with some weekend and school holiday hours also available. Flexibility in approach to hours worked will be essential as the centre is open seven days per week. Hours will be allocated on a rota basis with our other staff members.
