BC Implementation

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced GP to BC Implementation Specialist to lead the migration from Microsoft Dynamics GP to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ERP implementations, data migration, process re-engineering, and end-user training. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to the modern Business Central environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end migration process from Microsoft Dynamics GP to Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Conduct system analysis and mapping between GP data structures and BC entities.
• Develop and execute data migration strategies, including cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Configure and customize Business Central modules to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document business processes and translate them into system functionality.
• Coordinate with technical teams for integrations, customizations, and third-party solution deployment.
• Manage testing cycles-unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop user documentation, training materials, and deliver training sessions to end users.
• Provide post-implementation support and ensure successful adoption of Business Central.
• Monitor project milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems (GP, NAV, or BC).
• Proven track record in GP to BC migration or similar ERP modernization projects.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and business workflows.
• Experience with data migration tools (e.g., SmartConnect, RapidStart, Jet Reports, or similar).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification(s).
• Experience with third-party add-ons and integrations (e.g., payroll, CRM, reporting tools).
• Familiarity with Azure environment and cloud migration best practices.
• Background in finance, supply chain, or operations process optimization.
