Summary: A Technical Lead with expertise in API-driven digital platforms hosted on AWS is sought to implement scalable and secure solutions integrated with Salesforce. The role requires strong hands-on experience with AWS services and Java development, along with proficiency in various tools and frameworks. Candidates must be based in the UK and will work in a hybrid model, spending two days in the office in either London or Leeds. The contract duration is initially set for 4-6 months and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of API-driven digital platforms hosted on AWS.
- Implement DevSecOps practices and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure solid understanding of API design principles and integration techniques.

- Proficient in Java development and modern frameworks, including AWS Lambda.
- Experience with tools such as Angular, Jenkins, Karate/Gherkin, and Cypress.

* Tools & DevOps: Experience with tools and frameworks such as Angular (front-end), Jenkins (CI), Karate/Gherkin (testing/BDD), and Cypress (UI testing). Ability to implement DevSecOps practices and manage CI/CD pipelines.
* Systems & Integration: Solid understanding of API design principles and integration techniques for connecting cloud services with enterprise systems.
* Certifications: AWS certified (e.g. AWS Certified Developer - Associate or higher).
Candidates need to be based in the UK. The role is based on a hybrid working model, 2 days in the office in either London or Leeds. The contract is for 4-6 months initially, outside IR35.
