Summary: The role of Software Automation and Test Engineer involves working with a leading engineering organization to deliver Embedded software solutions. The position focuses on the implementation, integration, and testing phases of the software lifecycle, ensuring the validation and verification of Embedded software systems. This is a 6-month contract role with hybrid working arrangements and is classified as outside IR35. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a highly technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated test solutions for Embedded software
- Support software integration, verification, and validation activities
- Work across the full software development lifecycle from implementation through to testing
- Analyse and diagnose software and communication issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure software quality and performance
- Support fault finding, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities
Key Skills:
- Strong background in Automated Testing
- Experience with Python Scripting and test automation

This role will focus on the implementation, integration, and testing phases of the full software lifecycle, supporting the validation and verification of Embedded software systems within a highly technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated test solutions for Embedded software
- Support software integration, verification, and validation activities
