We are currently seeking an experienced SMP Project Manager for a 12 month + contract working within Capital Projects in a large open pit mining operation.

With a flexible roster on offer of either 4/3 or 8/6 you will be working across a varied portfolio of projects and responsible for:

• Ensuring capital projects are executed in line with contract and client requirements, whilst ensuring financial outcomes are maximized and risks are minimized
• Directing, managing and controlling project activities and ensuring timely engagement of stakeholders
• Promoting safety and environmental awareness to project staff
• Building strong internal and external customer focused culture and practices to deliver positive project results

Experience required:

• Degree in mechanical engineering
• Previous experience working within a mining or heavy industry environment
• Worked end to end project work from study to execution
