Description & Requirements
On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for an SC Cleared Assistant Project Manager/PSO (Inside IR35) for a 24 Month contract based onsite fulltime in Shrivenham, Oxfordshire.

Job Purpose:
The Defence Academy (DefAc) requires a Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) APM/PSO to assist the Exit Project Managers in maintaining and managing project artefacts and documentation, secretariate responsibilities and support to deliver the contract exit projects. The right candidate will possess excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines.
As an Assistant Project Manager/PSO your main responsibilities will be:
Arranging key Project meetings i.e. Pj Working Groups, client reviews, Project Boards etc. and support monthly Project Progress Review meetings.
Provision of Records of Decisions from Project Meetings
Support to the Project Manager in the creation and maintenance of Key Project Artefacts e.g. Business Cases, Requirements, Risk Register, Approvals, Communication strategy etc
Management of Project Teams Sites
Day to Day support to the Project Manager in the execution of their duties
Engagement with external stakeholders to support delivery of the Project(s)
You'll have:
- Active SC Security Clearance
- Excellent understanding of M365 functionality and its applications i.e. MS TEAMS, MS Project, MS Office.
- Knowledge of Project Management methodology
- Understanding of MoD ways of working
- The ability to work with a wide range of staff and stakeholders
- Strong managerial skills
