Summary: The Assistant Finance Officer is responsible for managing customer inquiries as the first point of contact for Credit Control and Adult Care Charging Teams. This role involves handling live phone calls and emails, addressing Tier 1 questions, and processing payments. Additionally, the officer will refer queries to the appropriate departments and ensure timely responses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take live phone calls, and manage incoming emails. To be the 1st point of contact for Credit Control and Adult Care Charging Teams, dealing with customer enquiries.
- Manage Tier 1 questions, providing copy invoices/taking card payments/dealing with care breaks and adjustments.
- Refer queries to originating departments as necessary and monitor receipt of responses.
