Summary: Help Support Families Stay Together Staffordshire is seeking an experienced Social Worker for their Assessment and Staying Together teams, focusing primarily on Children in Need (CIN) cases. The role involves working with families facing challenges such as domestic violence, substance misuse, and neglect, with a supportive team environment. The position offers flexible working arrangements, requiring only one day in the office per week. This is an opportunity to contribute to a restructured service aimed at preventing family separation and improving outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cases primarily involving Children in Need (CIN) and Care Proceedings.
  • Work with families experiencing domestic violence, substance misuse, and neglect.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team including a Team Manager, Senior Practitioner, and Family Practitioner.
  • Participate in a holistic service approach to support families and prevent escalation of issues.
  • Engage with Local Authority Family Hubs to coordinate resources and share information effectively.
