Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and evolve the enterprise strategy for AI and GenAI developer tools.
  • Align tool strategy with HSBC’s wider engineering, security, and digital transformation goals.
  • Maintain oversight of the GenAI CA ecosystem, including tooling performance and feature evolution.
  • Track KPIs, adoption metrics, and value realization across all GenAI initiatives.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of new AI tools.
  • Work closely with platform and engineering teams for secure integrations.
  • Establish and enforce governance policies and responsible AI practices.
  • Liaise with InfoSec, Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams.
  • Serve as a central point of contact between CTO DevOps, engineering teams, and external vendors.

  • Maintain oversight of the GenAI CA ecosystem, including tooling performance, feature evolution, and cross-program alignment.
  • Track KPIs, adoption metrics, and value realization across all GenAI initiatives in the developer space.
  • Tool Evaluation & Integration
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of new AI tools that complement or extend current capabilities (e.g., beyond GitHub Copilot to other AI-enhanced IDEs and platforms).
  • Work closely with platform and engineering teams to drive secure, compliant integrations into HSBC’s development environments.
  • Governance & Risk Management
  • Establish and enforce governance policies and responsible AI practices.
