Summary: The AI Architect role involves designing and overseeing enterprise-grade AI solutions using Palantir Foundry within a large-scale AI and data transformation program. Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end AI and analytics architectures leveraging Palantir Foundry, including ML models, large-scale data pipelines (PySpark), and deployment patterns within the Foundry ecosystem.
- Define and maintain architectural standards, best practices, and governance for AI and data science solutions, with a strong focus on security, compliance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Evaluate and select appropriate AI, ML, and data technologies within Foundry and aligned cloud environments.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, software engineers, and product stakeholders to integrate commercial data sources and AI workflows.
- Oversee integration of AI models and analytics into enterprise systems using Foundry APIs and data connectors.
- Ensure robust data privacy, ethical AI principles, and regulatory considerations are embedded in all solutions.
- Review, troubleshoot, and optimise AI system performance, reliability, and data pipeline health.
- Stay up to date with advancements across AI, ML, data engineering, and the Foundry platform, driving continuous improvement.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as an AI Architect, ML Engineer, or similar, delivering production-grade AI solutions on Palantir Foundry.
- Strong expertise in PySpark, distributed data processing, and large-scale data pipelines.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML algorithms, model optimisation, and enterprise deployment patterns.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Solid knowledge of data engineering, security, compliance, and enterprise software architecture.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
