Your new company A new opportunity has arisen within a supportive and friendly independent accountancy firm in Staffordshire focusing on accounts work.

Your new role Working with a mixed portfolio of clients from a range of industries, you will work on bookkeeping and VAT returns, management accounts and statutory accounts preparation, personal and corporate tax returns and will liaise regularly with clients both in person and over the phone/ via email. Dependent on your experience to date, you may get involved in supporting the development of juniors and work on more complex clients. You'll use a range of accounting software including Iris, Sage and Xero.

What you'll need to succeed You will possess solid experience working within an accountancy firm undertaking bookkeeping and/ or accounts preparation work. You'll be a good communicator, able to develop good client relationships and manage deadlines effectively. It would be great if you were to hold AAT qualifications were to be studying towards completion of AAT or ACCA.
