A&T Technicians 12-month FTC

About Onsite Wolverhampton, GBR Moog Aircraft Group is seeking experienced Assembly & Test Technicians to join our team at our Wolverhampton facility on a 12-month Fixed term contract. Working 37 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 7.30 am 4.15 pm and Friday 7.30 am 11.30 am.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembly and test of flight-critical actuators and subcomponents with high precision and accuracy.
• Using measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges to inspect component parts.
• Working from engineering drawings and component maintenance manuals.
• Completing quality audits and taking responsibility for various aspects of the A&T process, including the release to service of repaired actuators.

Key Skills

• Apprentice trained (or equivalent level of qualification) ideally within Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience within an engineering/manufacturing role is essential, ideally within aerospace or related industries.
• Good knowledge of assembly and test manufacturing.
• Competent in reading and following different set procedures.
• Experience working within an aerospace quality system is desirable.
• Dynamic and proactive attitude.
• Security Clearance Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
