Summary: We are looking for a Senior IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (EDI) Developer to create and maintain enterprise EDI integration solutions. The role requires extensive experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and EDI mapping in high-volume environments. The ideal candidate will also mentor junior developers and collaborate with business stakeholders. This position is contract-based and remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy EDI integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
  • Develop and maintain BPML business processes, workflows, and adapters.
  • Create and support EDI maps for ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, CSV, and Flat File formats.
  • Configure and support communication protocols including AS2, FTP, SFTP, and VAN.
  • Monitor EDI transactions, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize system performance.
  • Develop integrations using APIs, Web Services, XML, XSLT, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Support trading partner onboarding and integration activities.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Skills:

  • 15+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (version 5.2.6 or higher).
  • Extensive experience developing BPML business processes.
  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
  • Experience working with XML, JSON, CSV, and Flat File integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with AS2, FTP, SFTP, and VAN communication protocols.
  • Strong SQL and DB2 database experience.
  • Experience with APIs, Web Services, XML, and XSLT.
